Why this in-person course is unique

Your health is priceless. Without health, everything else loses its value. This in-person course offers you a profound path to care for your health – through direct, professional guidance and the motivating energy of a supportive group.

Christian, also active as an acupuncturist and osteopath, recommends Qi Gong as one of the most effective paths to self-care. In personal instruction you experience how accessible and powerful this method is – regardless of age or fitness level.

What is true health?

More than just the absence of illness: feel and cultivate your life force (Qi) directly on site. Health is a dynamic life force. Illness often arises through blockages in this energy flow. In our weekly course you don't just learn theoretically – you feel practically how to dissolve these blockages through gentle, guided exercises.

We work together to restore the flow of your life force (Tong) and allow your body to heal itself.

What you'll learn

Every session combines the central aspects of Qi Gong and Wuji Quan – direct guidance, individual corrections and the energy of the group help you truly feel and internalise the exercises.

Activate Qi & Boost Energy

Learn under Christian's direct guidance to consciously gather and increase your life force (Qi) to feel more vitality in everyday life. Through targeted breathing exercises and postural work you open your body's energy channels step by step.

Relaxation & Stress Relief

Discover in the calm atmosphere of our training room how Wuji Quan and meditative Qi Gong forms help you effectively release physical and mental tension. The weekly routine creates a steady anchor in your everyday life.

Self-Healing & Meridian Work

Experience through targeted exercises and personal feedback how to perceive your Qi and acupuncture channels (meridians) and use them purposefully for regeneration. Christian explains the connections from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Further key aspects in group training

  • Gentle, flowing movements improve joint flexibility and train balance safely and effectively
  • Mental clarity and focus: mindful practice calms the mind and develops a positive inner attitude
  • Body & organ health: specific exercises harmonise organs and meridians – correct execution is perfected together
  • Nei Gong: consciously direct inner energy and activate the body's self-healing powers

Who is this course for?

  • People who want to actively care for their health: From Munich and surroundings, looking for a gentle but effective method of self-care.
  • The stressed and exhausted: Qi Gong offers a direct, practical way to reduce stress and regain energy – under personal guidance.
  • Curious about TCM: Anyone who wants to learn the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine in a motivating group.
  • People who value personal instruction: Direct feedback, individual corrections and a fixed weekly routine rather than an anonymous online course.

Tip: As a complement I also offer Inner Kung Fu & Wuzu Quan – the course runs immediately after (Wednesdays 7:15–8:15 pm) and deepens the principles of Qi Gong in the context of martial art.

Course contents in detail

Our in-person course is a flowing, weekly process based on physical experience and direct exchange.

Qi Gong foundations – feeling energy work

Every session begins with exercises to activate energy flow. You learn the fundamental principles of posture and breathing through direct demonstration and individual correction – no theory without practice.

Wuji Quan – power from emptiness

A central component is the collective learning of the 12 Wuji Qi Gong forms. Christian guides you through the movements and explains their effect so that you can understand the connections directly in your body.

Nei Gong – inner healing

Through guided meditations and special group exercises you learn to sense your meridians and consciously direct your life force. Sharing experiences within the group helps to compare and deepen your own perceptions.

Integration & exchange

Every session leaves room for your questions. You receive concrete tips on how to integrate the principles of the course safely and effectively into your daily life.

Qi Gong lives beyond the dojo

Qi Gong isn't a studio discipline — it's a daily practice, outdoors, alone, in connection with space, breath and nature. Christian in his own practice by the lake.

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How long does it take to learn Qi Gong?

It depends on your goal. Qi Gong is not a technique you complete in a few weeks – it is a lifelong practice for caring for body and mind. In our Munich in-person course you learn continuously and deepen your understanding week by week at your own pace.

02 Can you learn Qi Gong on your own?

Yes, the basics can be picked up from books or videos. However, the real depth lies in the fine details of posture, breathing and inner perception that an experienced teacher can correct directly. In personal instruction in Munich we ensure you practise correctly, safely and benefit from the energy of the group.

03 When should you avoid Qi Gong?

Qi Gong is one of the safest forms of movement there is. During acute infections with fever, severe mental illness (e.g. psychosis) or directly after major surgery you should pause or consult a doctor. Our in-person course means you always have a direct point of contact – Christian can adapt exercises individually as needed.

04 Is Qi Gong good for mental health?

Absolutely. Qi Gong is an excellent tool for strengthening psychological wellbeing. Slow, flowing movements combined with deep abdominal breathing and focused mindfulness calm the nervous system, reduce stress hormones and promote inner calm. The weekly training in our Munich dojo gives you a fixed anchor point to switch off and recharge.

05 What is better, Tai Chi or Qi Gong?

It is not a question of better, but of personal preference and goal. Qi Gong is often easier to learn and focuses primarily on health, energy flow and meditation. Tai Chi (Taiji) is an inner martial art with longer, more complex movement sequences. For beginners and a clear focus on health, our Qi Gong course in Munich is ideal.

06 What are the 5 Elements in Qi Gong?

The Five Elements (Wu Xing) are a central concept of Chinese Medicine: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Each element is associated with organs, emotions and movement qualities. In many Qi Gong exercises these elements are harmonised to create holistic balance in the body. In our Munich course we return to these connections regularly, so you understand the deeper wisdom behind the movements.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this Kung Fu and martial arts school. Christian brings not only decades of experience, but also a calm and enthusiasm that is rarely found today. He takes his time, explains techniques clearly, and gives individual attention to each student. The atmosphere is both motivating and respectful – you simply feel welcome, whether you're training for the first time or have been attending for years. Anyone who wants to experience Kung Fu and holistic martial arts will find a wonderful place here.

Great Qi Gong classes! Teacher with a lot of experience — highly recommended! I trained with him 25 years ago, and now he's even softer, more fluid, more precise, more powerful.
